Schoolhouse 226 employs highly qualified, dedicated teachers and staff members. Our teachers have a commitment to success and we continuously invest in their knowledge of early childhood development, research and education to ensure that they have the tools they need to provide a stimulating, interactive learning environment. Our faculty members attend regularly scheduled staff meetings and we ensure that teachers have all the support they need to care for and educate your child.
Because Schoolhouse 226 is locally owned, we have the ability to stay in tune with what is expected of children as they enter elementary school in Collin County. Our teachers have continuous education by some of the same trainers as the teachers in the Collin County Independent School Districts. As a result, we offer award winning curriculum that draws from years of innovation and research to provide developmentally appropriate multisensory tools and strategies for your classroom. The program follows research that demonstrates children learn more effectively by actively doing, with materials that address all styles of learning.
Scott and Katy Lansford have three small children and understand the importance of choosing the right environment for your child. While there are many options in the area, they struggled to find a place that focused on Christian values, provided the academic focus to ensure success, and accommodated the hours needed for working parents. As a result, Schoolhouse 226 was born! Scott and Katy both have an active role our schools and always have the perspective of being a parent as they work in the best interest of the children. The Lansfords love being a part of the Schoolhouse family and are dedicated to ensuring that you and your children will, too!
